Here I am, just a few days after Scarlett’s birth posting her story, which is exceptionally similar to Beau’s.
There’s not much left on my to-do list before Scarlett arrives.
My hospital bag is packed, the car seat is in the van and we’re ready to go at a moment’s notice.
On Saturday, I hit 36 weeks and am so ready to be in the home stretch. It’s still surreal to think we’ll meet Baby Scarlett in just a couple weeks.
It’s crazy to think that Scarlett could be here in the next 5 (if she arrives two weeks early like Beau) to 7 weeks.
I’m just now starting to process the gestational diabetes education I received, and thoughts on it are swirling around in my head as I try to make sense (or non-sense) of things.
I hit 28 weeks this past weekend, but I’ve waited until today to post an update because I had my OB appointment this morning and had to down 50 grams of sugar in less than five minutes.
I’m less than a week from beginning my third trimester of this pregnancy, and I can’t help but marvel at how great I’m feeling now compared to just a month ago.
I have grandeur visions of doing a few things differently before and after Miss Scarlett arrives in December.
