Two months ago, I thought we’d be well into our year-long RV trip and celebrating July 4th in another state as we began to make our way around the county. But plans change. One month ago, I thought we’d be spending the long holiday weekend at an RV park in Georgia that catered to kids with lots of holiday festivities. But we’ve had some towing issues with our truck that we are working out so we are pushing our next trip back until after the Fourth. Let’s face it, the last place we want to be is stuck on the side of the road in the dead of summer with three little kids in the back seat.
So even though we won’t be RVing for Happy Birthday America Day–as my four year old refers to it–we will still be celebrating with some of these kid-friendly Independence Day activities that I put together for RoverPass.com. The good news is that if these July 4th Activities are easy to do while RVing, you know they’re super easy to do at home.
Water balloon activities are at the top of our celebration list and the Rowdy boys are itching for me to fill them up!
