It’s been a whirlwind of a Christmas season, as recovering from sickness and surgery took over the first two weeks of December. But yesterday, my boys had their last day of school for 2018 and we are doing our best to squeeze in some fun Christmas moments in the next few days before the big day.
Every year, I order more Christmas cards than previous years—and every year, I seem to run out again. So to those who didn’t receive a copy in the mail, please accept my humblest apologies with a promise to do better (ideally, to be more organized) in the coming years.
From all of us Hobsons, we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
— James, Haley, James Michael (6), Beau (5), Scarlett (4) and Grady (4 months)
Despite the health obstacles we’ve had this Christmas season, we’ve still packed in some fun activities amid all the doctor visits. The first three weeks of December were packed with a visit to Magical Nights of Lights, ballet recitals, girls’ night in Dahlonega, a fourth birthday celebration and trip to Babyland General and school Christmas parties and performances. And this weekend, we have an adults-only swanky Christmas party before kicking off celebrations with the family.
