This past weekend, James and I went out on a limb and tried ñame and starfruit.
This year, we spent New Year’s Eve in Athens. Not only is it cheap compared to Atlanta, but it’s nostalgic for us and you can walk everywhere.
As with Thanksgiving, Christmas this year was a blur.
We enjoyed a Christmas party in Gainesville with family friends.
It was a tacky shirt party, but I didn’t get the memo. James, however, got several memos that must have mentioned it was a tacky shirt, tacky pants and tacky accessories party.
It was a great end to our Thanksgiving break. Now, it’s time to see how many holiday events we can pack in before Dec. 25.
While James competed in the CrossFit Dahlonega Challenge, I spent the weekend with my family in nearby Gainesville.
Thanksgiving is perhaps my favorite holiday of the year. I think it’s a combination of perfect weather, a spectacular outdoor color pallet, home-cooked food and time with family.
James pulled out his skin-tight, throw-back-to-the-70s baseball uniform, while I opted for a comfy roller girl getup–minus the skates, lest I break my neck.
